Who are IoTSF Bangalore

IoT Security Foundation Bangalore chapter has been created, as part of the organization’s commitment to fostering global collaboration on IoT security. The context is to promote good security practices, increase adopter knowledge, and boost user confidence, to drive the growth of the IoT ecosystem in the region.

The IoT Security Foundation (IoTSF) was launched on April 18, 2023, in Bangalore, India.

The IOTSF Bangalore chapter was started by four founding members Mike Bartley (Tessolve), Amit Rao (Device Authority), Amitesh Kumar (Honeywell), and Abhishek Kumar and after the first chapter meetup three new members joined the core team Disha Rajkumar (Tessolve), Vivek Mathur (LTIMindtree) and Vinay R (BT group) .

Mike Bartley said “We aim to build on the strong body of knowledge and expertise that already exists within IoTSF, further promoting and establishing best practices in a way that recognizes both the global and local needs as well as developing the Bangalore ecosystem and we want the local community to learn about and share information on existing and emerging IoT cybersecurity issues, along with the necessary solutions, so we’re going to begin by holding physical conferences and workshops alongside online events.”
