At the 2025 IoT Security Foundation conference, Dex Hunter-Torricke (formally of Google, the UN, Meta/Facebook, SpaceX) presented ‘The kaleidoscopic futures of AI and security’.
Dex is Founder & President of The Centre for Tomorrow, a new global nonprofit focused on identifying how to build flourishing societies and a more resilient global order in a future being dramatically reshaped by AI and advanced technologies.
The reaction to his talk last year was overwhelmingly positive, and the recording is one of the most-watched YouTube videos we’ve ever published.
We simply had to have him back for our 2026 annual conference, and we’re delighted to confirm that Dex will keynote again on Wednesday 26th August at the Novotel London West in Hammersmith (his childhood stomping ground, so he’ll be right at home!).
To mark the 30th anniversary of TechWorks (our parent organisation), the IoTSF 2026 conference will combine with the NMI, AESIN, TechWorks-AI and DESN for this unique, one-day event, entitled the ‘Semiconductors to Systems Summit’.
The IoTSF conference will have its own auditorium alongside a sizable networking and exhibitor area with 600+ expected to attend.
Also confirmed for the Semiconductors to Systems summit, Simon Thomas, CEO of Paragraf and Paul Slaby, Managing Director of Canada’s Semiconductor Council.
