June 10th 2025 – The IoT Security Foundation (IoTSF) today announced the appointment of Florian Lukavsky, Chief Innovation Officer at SignPath, as the new Chair of its Regulatory Watch Working Group. Lukavsky brings extensive expertise in product security and software integrity to this critical role, as the group continues its vital work in monitoring and responding to the evolving global landscape of IoT regulations.

The IoTSF Regulatory Watch Working Group serves as a crucial resource for IoTSF members, providing essential horizon scanning and shared intelligence on current and emerging international regulations impacting IoT products and services. The group is responsible for producing timely regulation briefings, including analysis of significant developments such as the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), the Radio Equipment Directive (RED), and the UK Product Security and Telecommunications Infrastructure (PSTI) Act. Furthermore, the working group actively contributes to the development of future regulations and standards by responding to calls for views from regulatory bodies worldwide, ensuring that IoTSF’s guidance, particularly its IoT Security Assurance Framework, remains current and relevant.
